Quest for Big Dog will be an NES release, both in a retail box and on a physical NES cartridge, as well as released digitally as a rom file. Expected release date is Summer 2023 and is almost certainly expected to change. It is my first attempt at writing a complete NES title, but I do have considerable experience with C and have been learning 6502 assembly.
Aun Egg is a flawed Aun, not really taking the spiritual beliefs all that seriously. When it came time to defend Aun Meg, Egg was always nearby. An animal believed to be especially attuned to the ebbs and flows of the magical currents within Ezheret became terminally ill. This animal, known as "Big Dog", would likely not make it to the winter solstice celebrations.
Aun Egg decided to take matters into her own hands and embark on a journey across Ezheret and if necessary, to the foggiest depths of Hazahtu, vowing not to return until a cure was found. Aun Egg never hesitated to sacrifice herself but for this journey to be successful, Egg must be not only physically strong, but emotionally and spiritually strong as well. No one has ever returned from Hazahtu as the same person, and very few have returned at all.
Three worlds consisting of 2 to 5 maps a piece construct the playable game universe. Ezheret takes up about 50% of the content, Hazahtu another 35% and the remaining 15% is split between the afterlife and other material to wrap-up story.
